The Trip Ahead.
The fourth Slowmile trip. Six months south in the rebuilt 1982 Porsche 911SC. Departure October 2026, return April 2027. Route to be confirmed and shaped along the way — Estonia to southern Europe and back, anchored around a small number of long stays per region. The project's first trip with the rebuilt car. The third winter on the road.
Trips one and two were summers in the T3. Trip three was the first time in the 911, cut short in Spain. Trip four is the longest, the slowest, and the first to run through winter.
Six months changes everything. The car has to be properly finished — not just running, but ready to live in for half a year. The build window is fixed: June through September 2026. After that, we leave.
The route is intentionally loose. We're shaping it around a small number of week-long stays per region, partners we want to spend time with, and the weather. We move when there's a reason to move.

1982 Porsche 911SC — in build
The car came home on a trailer at the end of the third trip. The 2026 rebuild takes it apart: crash repair, widebody backdate, full repaint, interior restoration. Bodywork is with Benefit Autoklassika in Tallinn — the same workshop behind Kalmar Automotive's carbon-bodied 7-97 and many other Porsches and classics.
Build window is fixed: June through September 2026. No extensions. The car has to leave by October or the trip doesn't go.

Places to stay
We're booking a small number of week-long stays per region — hotels, boutique properties, castles, vineyard estates. Family of three plus a hairless cat. Seven-night minimum. In exchange, we make and license content: an Instagram Reel (cross-posted to TikTok, FB, YouTube Shorts), a feed post, photographs you're welcome to use, and inclusion in the monthly Best Stays feature on slowmile.co.
